Resumen
In this paper, an enhanced combined Helmholtz integral equation formulation (CHIEF) method is applied to the boundary integral formulation in steady-state elastodynamics to overcome the well-known nonuniqueness difficulty. This enhanced CHIEF method uses a linear combination of the displacement boundary integral equation and the traction boundary integral equation on the surface of a small interior volume as a constraint. A so-called Green's function interpolation technique is also used in the formulation to speed up the process of matrix formation, especially in a multi-frequency run. Several numerical examples are given to demonstrate this method.
