Cervical Strengthening and Stabilization Exercises in Migraine Management: A Systematic Review Protocol

Producción científica: Article

Resumen

Research on non-pharmacological migraine interventions has traditionally focused on low-intensity cardiovascular training and relaxation techniques (La Touche et al., 2023), while emerging studies on yoga often fail to differentiate between styles and thus the actual exercise modalities being applied (Wu et al., 2022). Physical therapy research frequently employs a multifaceted approach, combining pain science education, manual therapy, aerobic training, vestibular therapy, and strength training, making it difficult to isolate the effects of specific interventions (Onan et al., 2023). This paper aims to evaluate the literature on cervical strength and stabilization exercises to determine their efficacy and provide guidance on their application in migraine management.
