Resumen

The authors regret to inform the reader that we have made an error in the data analysis to this manuscript. Specifically, we incorrectly computed skin strain between the different configurations (e.g., between the unloaded in-vitro configuration and the preloaded in-vitro configuration). The error arose by mistakenly transposing a matrix in our computation. While a small error, it affects Figures 3, 4, and 5 and Table 2 of our manuscript. Please find in this Corrigendum the corrected Figures and Table (the captions have not been altered). As per the Figures, we have also repeated all statistical analyses and while some numeric values have changed, we believe that all major conclusions of our work remain true.
