Resumen

The amount and type of fat consumed in the diet may be important in the development of human cancer. Several organizations have advocated decreasing the fat content of the diet as a means of preventing the development of cancer. For example, the American Cancer Society1 advises people to 2016 cut down on total fat intake”, and the American Institute for Cancer Research2 advises people to 2016 reduce the intake of total dietary fat from the current average of approximately 37% to a level of no more than 30% of total calories and, in particular, reduce the intake of saturated fat.”
