Financiación
Zain Syed earned his Ph.D. in chemical ecology, sensory physiology, and behavior from the University of Neuchâtel, Switzerland. He conducted postdoctoral research at the Free University of Berlin and the University of California-Davis, focusing on the neurogenetics of olfaction and neuroethology in arthropods. In 2011, Dr. Syed established his independent research group, now based at the University of Kentucky. His lab's work is funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Science Foundation (NSF), Department of Defense (DoD), and the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).
