Resumen

This communication deals with the interrelation between the global fluid flow performances and the micro scale flow patterns through the communicating channels geometry. The Fanning friction factor vs. Reynolds number correlation was experimentally determined for a fluid flow through specially designed compact heat transfer cores. The onset of a turbulent-like flow regime was noted and compared with the existing theoretical prediction.
