Resumen
Cellulitis is a complication of Hemophilus influenzae septicemia. Peak age incidence is 6 to 12 months. Onset is acute. The cheek is the most common site of involvement. Red or bluish discoloration is commonly noted. Re sponse to therapy with ampicillin or chlor amphenicol is dramatic.
