Image reconstruction of objects buried in the lossy half-space with hybrid integral formulation

Producción científica: Conference articlerevisión exhaustiva

Resumen

A method, which combines the hybrid integral equations with the distorted Born iterative method (DBIM) to solve the half space inversion problems, is discussed. The method can be applied if there are some other objects besides the unknown objects under the lossy earth or if the surface is not flat. By using the modified distorted Born iterative method, one can reconstruct objects burried under the lossy earth. It has been find that if one count in the information of the known cylinder, it is possible to detect the two offset cylinders.
