Resumen

In this work, we describe development of a lab-on-a-chip (LOC) sensor for pointof- care (POC) measurement of heavy metals in blood. Anodic stripping voltammetry (ASV) technique was used for the direct electrochemical detection of manganese and zinc using electroplated bismuth sensing electrode. Acetate buffer was used as the supporting electrolyte for the simultaneous detection of manganese and zinc in blood with limits of detection in the nanomolar range.
