Resumen

The title compound, C₁₁H₈Cl₂N ₂S, was prepared from the condensation reaction of thiophene-3-carbaldehyde with 2,5-dichlorophenylhydrazine. The azomethine C=N bond has E geometry. No thienyl ring flip was observed.
