Resumen
The equivalence principle method is combined with the method of moments to calculate the scattering from conducting objects with near-resonant open-ended cavity. This method is applied to solve for the scattering solution from three-dimensional cavities. The numerical results show that this method significantly reduces the iteration number in the iterative solution for problems that are plagued by multiple wave bounces and near-resonance in an open-ended cavity.
