ON MODELS OF MINIMAL REPAIR AND THEIR RELATIONSHIP WITH SHOCK MODELS.

Producción científica: Conference contributionrevisión exhaustiva

Resumen

In many realistic situations, it is unreasonable to assume that an item is returned to a good as new' state. Minimal repair models deal with a class of models in which an item is returned to a condition which is stochastically worse than when it was new. This class of models has some mathematical connections with another class of models of interest in reliability theory called shock models. We shall explore this relationship and show that each class sheds some light on the other class of models.
