PDTRT special section: Methodological issues in personality disorder research

Personality Disorders: Theory, Research, and Treatment will include a rolling, ongoing Special Section concerned with methodological issues in personality disorder research. The inaugural edition of this Special Section includes three papers. The first is by Colin DeYoung. In his paper, Using Personality Neuroscience to Study Personality Disorder, he discusses methodological issues for personality neuroscience research. The second is by Aidan Wright. In his paper, The Current State and Future of Factor Analysis in Personality Disorder Research, he addresses methodological issues for factor analytic research. The third and final paper is by Joshua D. Miller. In his paper, Using Online, Crowdsourcing Platforms for Data Collection in Personality Disorder Research: The Example of Amazon's Mechanical Turk, he discusses methodological issues for MTurk research. I found all three papers to be remarkably insightful, useful, and clearly very timely. They will be outstanding resources for future research. I hope you enjoy them as well!.
