Resumen
The locations of the depinning and melting transitions for a Josephson network in a magnetic field are predicted by the theories of roughening and melting in two dimensions. We show that the apparent discrepancies between these theories and numerical simulations can be attributed to the effects of finite dislocation fugacity and finite amplitude for the effective potential experienced by the vortices.
