Resumen
A correlation between the ratio of the Fermi temperature TF* and the Debye temperature θD and the occurrence of superconductivity or magnetic order is described. Values of TF*/θD≫ 1 are found to favor "conventional" superconductivity, whereas TF*/θD≲ 1 favors magnetic order. "Heavy fermion" superconductivity is found to be restricted to the case TF*/θD < 1.
