Resumen

A correlation between the ratio of the Fermi temperature TF* and the Debye temperature θD and the occurrence of superconductivity or magnetic order is described. Values of TF*D≫ 1 are found to favor "conventional" superconductivity, whereas TF*D≲ 1 favors magnetic order. "Heavy fermion" superconductivity is found to be restricted to the case TF*D < 1.
