Resumen

Crystals of the title compound, C₁₅H₁₅NO₃, were obtained from a condensation reaction of piperonal with 1-azabicyclo[2.2.2]octan-3-one and subsequent crystallization of the product from ethyl acetate. The geometry about the C=C double bond connecting the 1,3-benzodioxole moiety to the azabicylic ring system is Z.
